BCB Band of Oklahoma City sings "Walkin The Floor Over You" by the great Troubador, Earnest Tubb.Tubb was born on a cotton farm near Crisp, Texas (now a ghost town in Ellis County, Texas). His father was a sharecropper, so Tubb spent his youth working on farms throughout the state. He was inspired by Jimmie Rodgers and spent his spare time learning to sing, yodel, and play the guitar. At the age of nineteen, he took a job as a singer on a San Antonio radio station. The pay was low, so Tubb also dug ditches for the Works Progress Administration and then clerked at a store. In 1939 he moved to San Angelo, Texas and was hired to do a 15 minute afternoon live show on radio station KGKL. He drove a beer delivery truck in order to support himself during this time. During World War II he wrote and recorded a song titled "Beautiful San Angelo".In 1936, Tubb contacted Jimmie Rodgers's widow (Rodgers died in 1933) to ask for an autographed photo. A friendship developed and she was instrumental in getting Tubb a recording contract with RCA. His first two records were unsuccessful. A tonsillectomy in 1939 affected his singing style, so he turned to songwriting. In 1940, he switched to Decca records to try singing again and it was his sixth Decca release with the single "Walking the Floor Over You" that brought Tubb to stardom. A Week after being released he appeared in Ally McBeal where the ratings had gotten higher and he had won an academy award but they fired him after he was arrested on thanksgiving by an anonymous call they found him in palm spring under the influence of Cocaine and Valium he was then sent to do rehab to avoid more jail time during all that he felt that being on Ally was the lowest part of his life it was too overrated and he didnt care if he ever acted again. Then being released with him being in rehab he had lost out on movies, then being released to appear in Elton John's video 'I want Love' it was his big comeback he appeared in movies such as Lethargy, the singing detective and whatever we do then having his divorce finalized he had a relapse in 2003 but this time having an Epiphany while going to burger king he then tossed all of his dope into the ocean, deciding right then and there to clean up his act He then released his new album 'The Futurist' which sold over 16,000 copies in it's first week, getting back on track he then met the love of his life Susan Levin then on her 30th birthday he proposed to her and they got married on August 27th 05 becoming in bigger movies He stated in 2006 he's in the process of writing his autobiography and releasing a new CD. For example, in 2001, soon after the anthrax contamination incident in a Washington postal center, there was great demand for the Cipro. Fearing an anthrax attack, many people tried to purchase the drug and stockpile it. To satisfy that demand, Cipro - or products claiming to be Cipro - were suddenly offered on foreign web sites. There was no way of knowing whether what was being sold was manufactured properly, or even whether it was actually Cipro.For a later example, earlier this year, FDA warned consumers not to use a wide variety of home diagnostic kits which had not been reviewed or approved by FDA. The kits, sold on the Internet by a company called Globus Media, included home tests for pregnancy, syphilis and HIV. Again, there was no way to know whether these kits actually worked, and the manufacturer wasn't even identified in the packaging. So people could be testing themselves for HIV and getting erroneous results - and that could be tragic in many ways.The new brochure advises people to be sure to buy from a reputable site. In chapter 11 they talk about the DSM, Diagnostic and statistical Manual.I haven't followed the field of Psychiatry very closely over the past decade or so, and from what I've seen during my research there has been much change within the industry. Much of this change I find, frankly, appalling. The DSM 4 was on the verge of release when I last had involvement with Psychiatry. Those in the field to whom I'd spoken to about the new book were all displeased. They had a great amount of respect for the DSM3, and the DSM3R.. I was told at that time, point blank, that there were many conditions within the DSM3 which had been included for billing purposes, to appease the Insurance companies. This was so that said organizations would pay for treatment, as not to burden the patient.I was told how inane the DSM4 was, prior to it's release. Many within the field, at that time, had no desire to use the new edition of the DSM due to the vast expansive inclusion of trivial entries.I would like to make some important clarifications. Many of the psychiatric "disorders" which were added with the release of the DSM4 and later editions are, in my opinion, bullshit. Unfortunately the psychiatrists that make these decisions do not really speak for the community at large, and do indeed seem to have their own agendas. It IS indeed quite possible that some of those making the decisions may indeed be influenced by drug companies. I cannot, and will not refute that assertion. The pharmaceutical companies do have a great deal of money, and power. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of those decision makers got where they are with the help of corporate influence. This can not be proven, however it wouldn't surprise me in the least.The road to power is a perilous one. Often those that achieve their lofty goals will use terribly unscrupulous means to achieve their ends. Wisdom, rationality and morality are often trampled under the footsteps of ambition.This can be seen throughout our culture. They just people who are having difficulties dealing with life with the coping skills they currently have.I feel it's important to take a moment to discuss diagnostics. A psychiatrist asses a persons diagnosis based on varied criteria based on their emotional state. They are limited by what the person states. There is no safe or reliable way, that I am aware of, to monitor brain activity over a prolonged period of time. Even if they were to monitor said activity it would only reveal chemical concentrations and changes. After comprehensive study of such a thing, they could eventually learn to interpret what emotions a person is tending to feel. This would not resolve the root issues which lead to these emotional states, merely serve to verify whether or not the person was being honest.So based on their patient's statement the shrink shoves the person in a proverbial pigeon hole, and writes out a prescription for whatever should help them feel better based on the diagnosis. Diagnosing psychiatric problems is a bit obnoxious. There are too many potential disorders listed, so when asked to offer a diagnosis without further time and information .. the person will be classified based on the problems the psychiatrist is more familiar with. This does affect diagnosis in the medical field as well.There are some problems which have psychiatric manifestations which are biological in origin as well. Tumors, massive infection, glandular or hormonal problems, dietary or vitamin deficiencies, and some neurological conditions as well. Many of these can be resolved through standard medical science, however these issues will seldom be diagnosable by those within the Psychiatric profession.Someone who has experienced a sudden emotional change without any catalyst, in my opinion, should also consider speaking to a nutritionist, and/or physician first to insure the emotional change it's a side effect of another problem. This is how I now control my without pain medication. Most of the time, 85%, this controls it well.Except for the last week.I relised in my last video I showed you how it worked but it was out of camera shot.So here is the out of shot, shot.I also included a little shot of what the hospital forgot to remove from me when I was discharged!!! Now infected.It has been 28 hours since my last dose of Morphine 10mg SC in hospital.I have been in hospital for the last 8 days due to uncontrollable oesphageal pain that was beating even my Neurostimulator implant. If I had turned it off I have no idea how bad the pain would have been.I have been on Morhine and Valium since being admitted.I discharged myself last night against Doctor's advice due to family issues.The Doctor wanted me to stay longer and start me on Endone, another Opiate, before going home. Plus I was still suffering from pain and unable to eat and drink without Morphine to kill the pain.
