Unfortunately the psychiatrists that make these decisions do not really speak for the community at large, and do indeed seem to have their own agendas. It IS indeed quite possible that some of those making the decisions may indeed be influenced by drug companies. I cannot, and will not refute that assertion. The pharmaceutical companies do have a great deal of money, and power. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of those decision makers got where they are with the help of corporate influence. A psychiatrist asses a persons diagnosis based on varied criteria based on their emotional state. They are limited by what the person states. There is no safe or reliable way, that I am aware of, to monitor brain activity over a prolonged period of time. Even if they were to monitor said activity it would only reveal chemical concentrations and changes. After comprehensive study of such a thing, they could eventually learn to interpret what emotions a person is tending to feel. This would not resolve the root issues which lead to these emotional states, merely serve to verify whether or not the person was being honest.So based on their patient's statement the shrink shoves the person in a proverbial pigeon hole, and writes out a prescription for whatever should help them feel better based on the diagnosis. Diagnosing psychiatric problems is a bit obnoxious. There are too many potential disorders listed, so when asked to offer a diagnosis without further time and information .. the person will be classified based on the problems the psychiatrist is more familiar with. This does affect diagnosis in the medical field as well.There are some problems which have psychiatric manifestations which are biological in origin as well. Tumors, massive infection, glandular or hormonal problems, dietary or vitamin deficiencies, and some neurological conditions as well. Many of these can be resolved through standard medical science, however these issues will seldom be diagnosable by those within the Psychiatric profession.Someone who has experienced a sudden emotional change without any catalyst, in my opinion, should also consider speaking to a nutritionist, and/or physician first to insure the emotional change it's a side effect of another problem. This is how I now control my without pain medication. Most of the time, 85%, this controls it well.Except for the last week.I relised in my last video I showed you how it worked but it was out of camera shot.So here is the out of shot, shot.I also included a little shot of what the hospital forgot to remove from me when I was discharged!!! Naughty. Naughty. Naughty. Now infected.It has been 28 hours since my last dose of Morphine 10mg SC in hospital.I have been in hospital for the last 8 days due to uncontrollable oesphageal pain that was beating even my Neurostimulator implant. If I had turned it off I have no idea how bad the pain would have been.I have been on Morhine and Valium since being admitted.I discharged myself last night against Doctor's advice due to family issues.The Doctor wanted me to stay longer and start me on Endone, another Opiate, before going home. Plus I was still suffering from pain and unable to eat and drink without Morphine to kill the pain. The Doctor fell over when I said that as soon as I got home I planned to cease all meds!!!!I told him he could write a prescription but I wasn't going to fill it or take it.And consequently me still having the pain while eating and drinking and not taking any pain killers, I am unable to eat or drink. It has been 32 hours since I have had anything to eat or drink.I must check how long it takes for dehydration to start REALLY effecting you.I am already dehydrated.It is only going to get worse.But I am ready for it.This afternoon slight 'creepy crawlies' under the skin started. So too has the hot/cold flushes and stomach cramps. Sinus blockage. And lower right leg and foot cramps.If any of you have seen my previous videos, you would know why I go Cold Turkey. For those of you who have never seen these videos or have any questions al all, please ask me as I am more than happy to truthfully answer.I become physically addicted to pain meds while taking them for many years for GENUINE pain. The alert applies to drugs such as Abilify (aripiprazole), Zyprexa (olanzapine), Seroquel (quetiapine), Risperdal (risperidone), Clozaril (clozapine) and Geodon (ziprasidone).
